Assistive Technology
This is the term given to all equipment that can be used to assist the persons learning from software, such as speech to text programs, to hardware such as digital dictaphones. Scanning devices can be used to capture text and images as well as ergonomic shaped mice and keyboards for for learners with physical difficulties.
